  • Staff v Children Netball Match

    Wed 17 Jul 2019
Tuesday afternoon saw the highly anticipated children vs staff netball match.

We were blessed with wonderful weather once again which meant conditions were very hard! Children from year 5 and 6 formed three different teams and played against both KS1 and KS2 staff. Unfortunately for the children, the staff came out victorious in each game winning 3-1, 5-4 and 7-3!

All of the games were played in a great spirit and it was a lovely way to begin the final week's activities!

There are some 'action' shots beneath!
  • Race for Life

    Fri 12 Jul 2019
Thank you for all of your FANTASTIC efforts this afternoon! There were so many parents and families taking part and cheering people on. It was a brilliant community effort!

A MASSIVE thank you to all of those who have donated money over the past few weeks as well as this afternoon. Everybody has been so generous.

We were fortunate to have had a dry afternoon but there were some very red faces at the end! Everybody was resilient and battled through their run in some very testing conditions. The ice creams at the end were very well deserved!

It truly was a great afternoon and we have raised awareness and a lot of money for a very worthy cause!

The latest total is a whopping £751.28! Thank you all ever so much!
  • Sports Day 2019!

    Mon 24 Jun 2019

Despite the weather forecast casting doubts over the event all week, we were fortunate enough to avoid any bad weather and were blessed with sun for the lunchtime picnic lunch!

All of the pupils took part in 8 events which challenged them to work collaboratively, support each other and encourage one another. Sports day is a unique opportunity for the year 6 pupils to cheer on their year R peers and vice versa.

Arguably the most challenging event, year 6's distance run at the end and this saw a very tightly contested finish with 4 children vying for first place until the final corner!

It is fantastic to see all of the children competing and enjoying sport. Thank you to all the parents who came to support their children and those who competed in the parents' race!

This year's Sports Day saw Romero victorious by over 400 points! Well done to everyone who took part.

  • Summer Fayre Grand Opening by The Mayor of Fareham

    Fri 21 Jun 2019

On Friday 21st June, St Jude's were fortunate enough to have The Mayor of Fareham - Mrs Pamela Bryant - open our Summer Fayre.  The weather was glorious and is seemed as though every child alongside their parents were joining in the celebrations.  The grounds were awash with colour from the many stalls offering all kinds of merchandise.  Inside St Phillip Howard church hall parents and grandparents were making a bee-line for refreshments which included an amazing array of delicious cakes.  All of these cakes had been very kindly donated by parents and many had been homemade.  Thank you all so very much.

This was the first time St Jude's have held their summer fayre on a Friday after school and you helped to make it a terrific success.
