Homework

Throughout the autumn term the children's homework will be focused on letter and number formation.

In addition to this we want to bring the children's maths in line with our reading challenge because we know that little and often works best in order for the children to become really fluent in their use of number facts.  Every time you fill in your child's log at the back of their homework folder then your child works towards completing their maths challenge.  If you fill it in 25 times this term then your child will receive a certificate.

 

With each number fact there will be ideas to help you.  Try and do this for 5 minutes as near to daily as you can - just like the reading.   All these ideas will be game based or can be done by chatting.  If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to come in and ask.
