Grace Darling and the history of the RNLI
Today we were fortunate enough to hear from Brian Masters, an RNLI Education Officer, who taught us all about Grace Darling and the history of the RNLI. The story of Grace Darling impressed us all because she showed true bravery and courage to help those in need! Because it is the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War One we also discussed the role of the RNLI and their heroic three day rescue of the hospital ship HMS Rohilla.
