World Book Day 2024

World Book day with MC Grammar!

In Year 4 we spent the whole day thinking about books! Firstly, we designed selfies with our favourite book characters. Then we listened to a World Book Day Song by MC Grammar! He had included so many different books and characters in his rap - it was amazing. We then talked about our favourite reading memories, whether it was curling up in bed with our parents, lying on the sofa or even sat outside the Taj Mahal - we all agreed reading a good book is a great way to spend a day! We took a breather enjoying a mug of hot chocolate while Mrs Jones read us the story of The Selfish Giant. Then we began creating our own World Book Day raps having been inspired by MC Grammar! Lastly we enjoyed the whole school book quiz. Phew! It must be time for the weekend!
