The Twits' Bee-Bot world
Bee-Bot Worlds for The Twits
Over the course of this half term, the children have thoroughly enjoyed reading The Twits by Roald Dahl. We decided to make a Bee-Bot world for The Twits. Before the children could do anything, they had to decide what would be in their world. They came up with all sorts, a swamp, monkey cages, quick sand and so on.
They then used their ideas to construct a world. Once the world was constructed, they then used cards to program where the Bee-Bot would travel. We had some interesting results!
Programming a Bee-Bot is the first stage of computing programming and coding. The children did really well.
