RSPB Big school Bird watch
Over the course of two weeks, the children have taken part in the RSPB Big School's Bird watch. They have been learning to recognise the different birds that frequent our school grounds and have made bird feeders to attract more bords. They went out and collected data which has been was submitted to the RSPB. The children made their own binoculars and built a bird watching area in our conservatory. They then used their collected data to represent it in a pictogram. The children used a range of mathematical and geographical skills during this process and we were really impressed with how well they did representing the data that they collected.
