Burglar Alarms
Linking our Science and our DT together to create alarms to protect an Egyptian tomb from being burgled. Our first step was to explore how to make a simple circuit that lights a bulb or sounds a buzzer. Then we started to think of ways to turn this into an alarm by building in a switch or pressure switch.
On Wednesday 27th March, we built our Ancient Egyptian tombs, creating a pressure pad alarm system. All of our alarms worked! Then we we made our tombs full of ancient treasures that needed protecting!
