STEM week 2024
British Science Week, rebranded as STEM week, has been well and truly marked at St Jude's! At an opening assembly, each class was given two challenges: to research and then present on a STEM professional; and to create a 30 second timer.
At the STEM 2024 Competition Assembly, many ingenious ideas were shared, ranging from sand timers to exploding Coke bottles! There is no doubt our school is full of budding Scientists, Technologists, Engineers and Mathematicians!

We then had to split into smaller groups and focus on just two of our ideas: a water timer, and a ball being slowed going down a course.
