Hampshire Air Ambulance
Tue 27 Sep 2016Hampshire Air Ambulance and their mascot Pilot Paws, visited the school on Monday 19th September 2016. Joanna Hennessey, from the service, talked to the children about the life saving work that the air ambulance crew performs across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight on a daily basis. The children were talked through what they should do in the case of an emergency.
Did you know?
- There is only one air ambulance that serves all the county and the Isle of Wight
- There are two doctors on board and one paramedic
- The helicopter flies at 140mph
- It can be anywhere in the county in 12 minutes from its base in RAF Odiham
- The crew flew 538 missions last year.

NSPCC ASSEMBLY
Fri 09 Sep 2016NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe Day.
The NSPCC will be in school on Monday12th September delivering a whole school assembly to Year1-6. They will follow up with two workshops for Years 5 and 6 in the afternoon. Please see the letter which has be sent home today with children and is available on the newsletter page of this website.
