Forest School

Forest School is an important part of our curriculum at St Jude's. From the very beginning of Reception, children love to learn outdoors and as a school on a beautiful site,with its own wildlife and mature trees, we make the most of the environment around us and take our learning outside as much as possible. 

 

The school works with a qualified Forest School Practitioner- Dr Sara Collins - Eco Urban Ranger. Dr Collins works with different year groups through out the year to complement the theme work that is taking place in class.  

Thank you to the Ernest Cook Trust for providing the funding needed to purchase our wet weather gear for Forest School. This kit has enabled all our children to enjoy forest school in any weather condition.
