Week 1 - Autumn 2 (2023)
We have continued to focus on physical development this week. The children helped to develop our sand and water area and did lots of mark making activities.
We have been talking about firework safety. The children made firework pictures and talked about their personal experiences of fireworks and displays.
Our book focus has been 'Bonfire Night' by Eliza Berison and 'Remember Remember the Fifth of November' by Deborah Webb. Our song/rhyme focus has been 'Tommy Thumb'.
Our next area of learning focus will be literacy. Our book focus will be 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. Our song/rhyme focus will be 'Incy Wincy Spider'.
