Here is a short video of the first part of our phonics lessons. This helps you to see how key spellings (such as 'ch' are matched with a rhyme or phrase as well as an action which we practise for 5 minutes every day in order to help children add this sound and spelling to their long term memory. They can then recognise the sound when they are reading or trying to spell a word.
