We would really encourage you to join Fareham Library.  It is a great place for your children to keep up-to-date with the latest publications, and old favourites.  The information below has been taken from the library website and it gives some details about their terms of membership.    

 

Terms of membership

Anyone living, working or studying in Hampshire can become a member of Hampshire Libraries

You can download digital magazines, newspapersaudiobooks and e-books for free. There are no late fees or reservation charges for these.

Membership gives you free access to library computers and to a host of digital resources via the website.

You may borrow up to 30 books at a time with no cost. The standard loan term is 28 days.

You can borrow DVDs for 7-day loans. 
Charges apply.

Late fees are charged for the late return of items.

You can 
renew items a maximum of five times either online, by phone or in person at any branch. You will not be able to renew an item if it is as been reserved by another reader or if you owe £30 or more on your account.

Items may be returned at any branch of the Library. After hour drop boxes are available at many branches. Items left in the drop boxes after hours are regarded as having been returned on the next open day.

Membership can be suspended if you have overdues items and outstanding charges.

Your library card is for your use only.

reservation and/or inter-library loan service is available for those items which are on loan, available at another branch or at another library service. A small fee is charged for this service.

All costs incurred by the library due to items lost or damaged while in your care must be reimbursed.

If you change your address or name please notify us immediately by logging into your account, or at a Hampshire Library branch.

Please report lost cards to the library immediately, via our website, by calling 0300 555 1387 or in branch. You will be held responsible for any items borrowed before the loss is reported.

Membership details are confidential and will not be disclosed to other parties.
