Portsmouth Dockyard Trip
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 14.06.17
On Wednesday 14th June we visited the Mary Rose Museum at Portsmouth Dockyard. We spent the first part of our morning in the classroom with some excellent teachers. We investigated the different roles that were important for life aboard a ship in Tudor times. As part of this investigation we compared the differences in lifestyles amongst the crew and their officers. We compared their clothing and other items they would have used.
After lunch we entered the museum! We were fortunate enough to have an expert guide us around and tell us all the secrets about the Mary Rose. If you ask us we should be able to tell you lots of interesting information!
