Week 1 and 2 - Spring 1 (2024)
We have had a very busy start to the spring term at pre-school which includes eleven new children starting! We have been very proud of our 'older' children who have shown our new children what to do and have helped them to settle into pre-school. Many new friendships have already been formed! We are also very proud of our new children who have settled in so well. We have enjoyed getting to know our new families during the visit sessions.
As a follow on from learning about the Nativity Story and Jesus' baptism, we asked parents to upload photographs onto Tapestry of their children when they were babies and any baptism/naming ceremony photographs. We had a great response to this.
The children have enjoyed sharing their Tapestry photographs of when they were babies and also of what they have been doing at home recently. The staff and I really enjoy seeing the Tapestry entries from home and the children are proud to share them with their teachers and friends.
