Autumn Soup Making
Thank you to all of those who sent in vegetables for our Autumn. We were overwhelmed with how much was sent in. Thank you also for the lovely homemade bread.
The children had a wonderful time washing, peeling and chopping up the vegetables. The listened well to the grow ups when we spoke to them about the health and safety of cooking and using sharp knives.
After preparing all of the vegetables, the children then helped to cook the soup in pans before blending it.
All of the children had a try of bread and soup. It was great fun and a perfect end to the first half term of school.
