At St. Jude's we recognise the importance of virtual learning and have subscribed for all pupils to have home access to Education City and ActiveLearn (Abacus). These websites provide fun, stimulating, curriculum linked activities, in a safe and secure on-line environment. The benefits to learning are immeasurable and allow for personalised and differentiated e-learning to take place. Recent studies into virtual learning environments have shown a marked improvement in children's educational performance. Please encourage your child to access these really useful websites at home and ask them to show you how they work!
