Homework
Our homework topic- Summer term
This half term we have had a lovely time hearing about the children's journeys which they can tell us from they journey sticks, where they have carefully gathered things which represent different parts of their walk or adventure. Today Rebecca brought in a fantastic house for a Gruffalo. She has thought about the sort of materials he could use to make his house and has made it out of almost entirely natural materials. She has even given him a garden. We all liked that she used a similar shelter design to the way we made our shelters on our day in the woods.
Weekly homework
In line with the new homework policy, children will bring home one piece of homework on Monday to be returned by Friday. They will bring a levelled book home to read on Friday to be returned by Wednesday. Homework will be sent out in a homework book, so please make sure children have their book bags to put these in.
