Book Week 2017
Monday 27th February - Friday 3rd March
What a fantastic week to come back to after our break! In Year 3 we have worked extremely hard this week and have created some fantastic work. We started our week by creating our own door 'book cover' inspired by Paul Geraghty's The Hunter. On Tuesday we met Paul Geraghty and had the privilege to listen to his stories with some really strange vocabulary (mechanical pony!?). We were also fortunate enough to show Paul Geraghty our own interpretations on his story AND HE SIGNED THEM! On Wenesday we began to draft our letters to thank Paul and then on Thursday we marched down to Waterstones in Fareham town centre to spend our book tokens! Finally, Friday was our 'Book Character Fancy Dress' and we had a wide range of characters from Horrid Henry to Captain America to Mary Poppins!
