Kinetic Letters
Learning to write is not just about children learning letters and sounds - it's also about being strong enough physically to be able to write. In reception we are starting to use "Kinetic Letters" - a programme which strengthens children's whole body, starting with their core, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands and fingers. We practise these animal shapes regularly to help.
