Completed trenches
Now that we are at the relevant point in our class novel, Private Peaceful, we got stuck into our learning on World War I today. We have talked a lot about conscription; looked at lots of recruitment posters; and considered trench warfare and the conditions the soldiers lived in. Pupils are now making detailed modes of WWI trenches in shoe boxes, with accurate parts. We look forward to sharing the finished models here soon.
