Week beginning 22nd June

Monday 22nd June

Hello!

I hope that you are all well. In class this week, we have carried on with daily Maths and English lessons and are now close to finishing 1000 year old boy. It really is a great book so perhaps see if you can download it somewhere, or put it on a birthday or Christmas list!

We have also started thinking about transition to secondary school and have been discussing the differences between primary and secondary school. See if you can share your ideas on this with someone older at home.

In registration, we have been stretching our brains with puzzles where numbers and letters are used. Can you solve any?

We have looked at the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The gifts of the Holy Spirit help us to bear these 9 fruits in our lives. They are the impact of receiving the gifts

You can find the 9 fruits on this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rezg4jYFoj0

See the attached questions for each fruit and pick two of the fruits. Please respond to the questions.

As always, try to keep as active as possible (Joe Wicks, walks/runs, bikes/scooters) because this will help your mind as well as your body.

We have been practising our tennis skills so perhaps, if you have a racquet and ball at home, you could do the same. Can you, while in the same spot, hit the ball 10 times without dropping? 10 times alternating the side of the racquet you use? 10 times letting it bounce before hitting up?

What about all of those things while on the move? Walking? Jogging?

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further support (l.crouch@st-judes.hants.sch.uk). Work can also be uploaded to Seesaw for marking and feedback where required

I hope you enjoy a good week

Miss Crouch
