week beginning 22nd June
Hello year 5s.
I hope you are all well and enjoyed the downpours last week. I loved it! I didn't have to water my newly sown grass or the plants. I love listening to the rain and smell of the earth afterwards. I was hoping for an exciting thunderstorm, but sadly we only had a few rumbles...
Anyway, here is this week's home learning.
By the way, when you upload your work onto seesaw, I can't view it in any detail, so writing, particularly, is difficult for me to read. If you want me to read your stories, I suggest you get your parent to email it to the school (they'll find the web address on the home page of the school website) and the office will forward it to me where I can read it and give you feedback. Thanks again to those of you who have uploaded all the work you've been doing.
I don't want you to rush through any of your writing tasks, so whatever you're up to don't abandon it thinking you have to complete these new activities. These are ideas for you to pick up and put down whenever you're ready and to go back to in order to edit and improve. Remember, an author would not sit down and write their book in one go. It takes them months or even years (you haven't got that long ), but you know what I mean.
Writing activities for at least 2 weeks - probably longer. Spelling - please practise daily.
The links and questions on the document should last you for the next 3 or 4 weeks, so I won't be putting anything else up for RE. Please use the links to access information about Sacraments and Holy Orders, but if you want to research further, please do.
If you're not sure how to illustrate the sacraments, type the sacrament into google and then go to images. There are always lots of ideas there.
