Week beginning 1st June
I hope you have enjoyed a week off of school work and have been able to enjoy the sunshine! Please find attached the home learning this week for those not returning to school on the 1st of June. Whilst I have tried to replicate as closely as possible what we will be doing in school, this is not always possible. I will, of course, try to answer any questions you may have and to respond to any work uploaded to Seesaw.
We will be looking at statistics: calculating the mean; interpreting line graphs and bar charts; and completing two-way tables. I do not expect you to complete all of the questions on line charts and bar graphs- they are there as examples for you to pick from.
We will be reading 1000 year old boy; completing a guided reading activity; and crafting writing based on an image.
We will be starting our study of Pentecost. Start by looking at Acts 2:1-4 and John 20:19-23. What is the same and what is different in these two passages?
What symbols are used for the Holy Spirit? Why do you think these are used? How do they link to how we are asked to be followers of Jesus?
I hope you and your families are all staying well
