Week beginning 11th May
Dear Year 6,
I hope that you and your families continue to be safe and well, looking out for the positive things around you and staying active.
Please find below the home learning for this week.
Daily Starters: As usual, daily ‘Can you still?’- 4 arithmetic/grammar questions per day
Maths: 4 tasks to try covering ratio, properties of numbers, fractions and area and perimeter
English: This is based on a poem, ‘Sea Fever’. There are several activities connected to the poem and they will take several days to complete properly
RE: This week, we are thinking about prayer: writing prayers and praying The Rosary
History/PSHE: Look at the document ‘Your thoughts on Lockdown’. You might not want to answer all these questions, or to do it this week- it’s up to you. But if you decide to answer any, I’d love to know your thoughts.
French and Music: Please follow the instructions on the Class Pages tab
Don’t forget to upload your work to Seesaw if you would like feedback on it. Alternatively, if your parents have not yet signed up to this, you can email your home learning to me. I look forward to seeing all the things you get up to this week.
You are all in my thoughts
