Week beginning 11th May
I hope you and your family are all well. The weather has been glorious and I hope you've been able to get out and about for your exercise.
Thank you to everyone who has posted work onto Seesaw. I've really enjoyed looking at it all and reading what you've been doing.
I haven't put up as much work this week, as I put up loads last week and you are probably still working on some of that. I'd rather you produce the best work you can over a longer period of time than rush through it and it not be so worthy of your time.
Take care, be kind to each other, and stay safe.
12th May marks 200 years since Florence Nightingale was born. I have included a link for you to use to access a video about her life and the crucial work she did with soldiers. She realised that more men died after fighting through infection and disease than actually did in battle. Florence started to put into place methods of nursing that became the basis for nursing as we know it today. It is quite pertinent during this time to understand a bit more about the person who founded modern nursing practices.
Mrs Lindsey has recorded another video, but I'm finding it difficult to upload it to Seesaw I'll keep trying. However, look for the the French page on the class pages for some work in the meantime.
