Week 7
We have had a great last week of the autumn term. The children have continued to take part in a range of Christmas activities. Each day, we have had a special snack of party treats and played many party games. The children's favourite game has been musical chairs. They had a bubble disco, played 'Pass the Teddy', sung Christmas songs using their new Makaton signs and watched some Christmas clips on the interactive board. Some of the children made melted snowmen and banana Santas which they enjoyed making and eating.
On Monday, we were invited to the Nativity performance in the school which the children really enjoyed. We had Christmas dinner in the school hall on Thursday with the rest of the school and then attended the candlelight service. We had many compliments on how well behaved our children were and how lovely it was to see them taking part in whole school activities.
We are very proud of our children and wish all our families a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.
