Week 3 - Summer 1 2023
We have had another busy week at pre-school. The children have taken part in lots of outdoor learning. They have particularly enjoyed Forest School. They used bug catchers, paper, pencils, crayons, chalks, magnifying glasses etc. to explore the outdoor area. The children had sheets containing pictures of minibeasts and went on a hunt to find them. They also went on a colour hunt and drew pictures of the minibeasts they saw.
Our theme was 'Traditional Stories'. The children have enjoyed listening to a range of stories and taking part in activities including making gingerbread playdough and printing with bricks for the three pigs.
The children have been learning about the coronation. We had party snack and a party lunch this week. The pre-school children made crowns and joined the school children to have an ice cream or ice lolly from the ice cream van.
