Hello Year 3,
Please find today's learning below.
English - please see the Tuesday slide of the week's power point for your spelling and grammar learning task. Today, we are reading leaflets and posters that persuade you to visit places. Have a look at the examples on the power point. Then record the features that you have identified (see the additional power point to check the features you have found). There are some simple sentences to improve, to make them persuasive. Remember to use the features and language that you have identified so far.
Maths -today is the start of revisiting multiplication and division. There is an online lesson on My Maths website. Then there are some problems that you will need to apply your 10x table facts to solve.
If you have time, look at the document called Times Tables - Fun Ways to Learn Them, which is saved in the 'Useful Info' folder at the start of the Year 3 Home Learning page. Spend some time learning and re-learning times table facts.
RE - look at the learning tasks about Revelation. There is a link to a fun quiz to do online!
PSHE - it is 'Children's Mental Health Week'. Look at the power point in the PSHE folder called Express Yourself and follow one slide each day. As we are starting these activities on Day 2 (Tuesday), you can choose to start on Day 1 or Day 2 - whichever you prefer.
Our 'Ten Ten' learning is about E-Safety, so have a look at the power point slides, session 1 all about Keep Safe online.
I hope to see you at 4pm today for our class Meet Up on Teams. Remember to bring along something that you have found on a walk out and about, or be ready to share news with us about somewhere you have been.
Have a great day,
See you soon.
