Spring 1 2023 - Week 6
The pre-school children and staff have had another fun filled week! We have spent a lot of time outside and have particularly enjoyed our welly walks!
The children have been developing their gross motor skills by using the bikes and scooters, bats and balls, balancing, throwing beanbags and taking part in action songs and yoga sessions. They have also been developing their fine motor skills by making models and collages using small parts, threading and using hammers and nails.
The children enjoyed preparing their own snack and washing up afterwards. They ate a range of food including toast, rice cakes, apples, bananas and even had some birthday cake as a treat!
During key group time, the children worked with their friends and key person whilst taking part in a range of activities including making up and acting out stories, counting activities, noticing patterns, learning the parts of a book and recalling stories.
