Search Museum Visit - Teeth
Today, Year 4 visited the Search Museum in Gosport to be able to further develop as scientists exploring the world of the digestion system. We had opportunity to really use our developing knowledge to help us identify animals by looking carefully at their actual teeth, exploring owl pellets to discover their diet and to consider adaptations of animals that help us decide what they eat. Exploring teeth, being able to compare the size of an actual elephant tooth, hippo tooth, sperm whale tooth and horse tooth, really brought our science learning to life. We really impressed the museum staff with our knowledge and questions. It was a busy morning, but we were incredibly focussed and had so much fun, we forgot we were learning!
