SeaCity Museum
Year 2 had a fantastic day at the SeaCity Museum in Southampton. We began the day, by taking part in a workshop. There were four different activities to complete. These included, selecting people to go on a lifeboat, carrying out a scientific experiment linked to the Titanic's compartments, matching pictures and smells to the different areas of the ship and sorting artefacts. After this, some of us took on the role of people who boarded the Titanic and our workshop leader told us stories linked to these people.
After lunch, we explored Southampton through the ages, which was an exhibition in the museum. We then had a guided tour around the Titanic exhibition and listened to some interesting stories and facts.
