Role Play

The children have been having lots of fun dressing up. Role play is a core part of child development. Through role play, children develop creativity, communication skills, physical development, problem solving, confidence and self-esteem. Children explore occupations, fantasy roles and real life situations.

The children have enjoyed playing 'Hospital', 'Doctors' and 'Vets'. They took turns to be the patient, doctor, vet, nurse and receptionist. The children used the paper and pencils to take messages, write prescriptions and write down what was wrong with the patients. They have also enjoyed playing 'Hairdressers' and 'Superheroes'.

Albert Einstein said, 'Logic will get you from A to Z, imagination will get you everywhere.'

Most inventions being enjoyed today are as a result of someone's imagination.
