Pumpkin Soup

After the half term, the children came back very excited about pumpkins. We read the story "Pattan's Pumpkin". This story is based in India and is about a flood. They are able to escape the flood safely in a giant pumpkin. 

The children became creative with their ideas and drew a picture to show what they would turn a giant pumpkin into. Their ideas were fantastic. 

We then made pumpkin soup. The children enjoyed cutting, chopping, mixing, stirring and tasting the soup!
