Phonics

The children have been learning lots of new phonemes (sounds) this half term. They are able to segment and blend c-v-c words (consonant-vowel-consonant) such as pit, pin, cat, sit, dog. They have also begun their reading journey and they are all now bringing books home. 

Please continue to support your child at home, by listening to them read as much as possible and helping them complete their home learning.
