Monday 1st March
Dear Year 3,
I hope you are all well and I hope that you had a great weekend enjoying the fabulous weather.
So, our final week of home learning in this way (hopefully), keep going!
Watch Mrs Wall's Morning Worship
English - start with the spelling activity to investigate the different ways to spell the short oo phoneme, usually spelt oo or u.
This week we will be using our English time to read about volcanoes and collect information, ready for some information writing that we will do next week.
Maths - Warm up your maths brains by joining in with some out loud counting to become more fluent in counting forwards and backwards. Today we are using our place value knowledge to round numbers to the nearest ten. This is a skill that we used last week when we were calculating change.
Geography - follow the link below to watch some BBC clips about volcanoes
Getting ready for school challenge - try on your PE kit & check that it all fits you, especially your trainers or plimsoles! Make sure you can do up your own shoelaces!
