Measuring
The children have been exploring measures in maths. They have learnt the units of measure for measuring the capacity of a container and also the weight of an object.
They know that 1000ml is in 1 litre and that half of 1 litre is 500ml. They are also confident identifying 1/4 and 3/4 of a litre. They can also apply this to weight (kg and g)
The children enjoyed measuring capacity and weight practically using different scales and then applied this learning in problem solving tasks in class.
