KS2 SATs week

This is a week Year 6 have been looking forward to: they know it is a snapshot of their attainment in a few subjects and is simply part of what Year 6 do.

Pupils have enjoyed sharing breakfast with their friends; realised just what they can achieve with a little hard work; and practised personal organisation skills.

It's been fun... but you don't just have to take my word for it.

Not as bad as I thought (Jenson)

They’re just like the practices we’ve done and it’s been nice having breakfast (Kenzie)

Best week of Year 6 (Anna)

I thought it would be stressful, but it actually isn’t because we’ve done enough practising (Bisia)

Coming in for breakfast, chatting to your friends and being ready has been helpful (Amelia)

They have got easier as the week has gone on (Aleena)

They have been exciting! (Daniel)

If you’ve done your homework, then you will be fine! (Rudi)

I enjoyed the reading SAT and the look-a-likes we did before it (Jalin)

SATS boosters have been really helpful because they’re like mini tests to practise on (Charlie)

The maths workshops helped because we were in tiny groups (Emily C)

Maths facts homework has really helped (Olivia C)

Comments we have been given over the last two years have helped us know what to expect (Bisia)
