Hello Year 4!

I hope you are all staying safe and healthy and taking advantage of all the time you have to spend with your families!

It is important that you keep practising all the skills you have learnt so far this year and keep your brains working. Here are some activities that you could try over the next week.

English

-Make sure that you are continuing to read as often as possible.
-Write as much as you can too! See if you remember some of features that we have learnt this year and add them in.
-Practise your spellings in fun and interesting ways (ideas in the English folder)
-Complete one of the other activities in the English folder.

Maths

-Use the topmarks website ( https://www.topmarks.co.uk/ ) to play games like hit the button and daily 10 as well as many more!
-Use TTRS to continue practising your times tables.
-Complete the activities in the Maths folder

PE

-Joe Wicks is currently doing a PE session on YouTube every morning. What a great way to start the day! You can find his channel here - https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1
-Your parents can find ‘Hampshire Schools Games Organisers’ on Facebook or Twitter. There are daily challenges that you can have a go at while you are at home.

RE

-We are coming close to the season of Easter. Pick one part of the Easter story and portray it in artistic way. You could paint, draw, build, collage whatever you like!

Topic

-I have uploaded a new homework menu. Have a go at one of the activities which is listed.

Mindfulness

-Part of making sure that our brains stay healthy and strong is to make sure we do things that make us feel relaxed and happy. Try some of the activities in the mindfulness file.

If you need a hand with anything or have any questions, your parents can e-mail me at: c.bailey@st-judes.hants.sch.uk

Have a great week and keep those brains working!
