-Why not try some yoga? Youtube Cosmic Kids Yoga to have a go at some of the videos we have tried before in class as well as plenty of others.
-You (parents) can find ‘Hampshire Schools Games Organisers’ on Facebook or Twitter. There are daily challenges that you can have a go at while you are at home.

RE –

Choose three passages from scripture you would want to share with someone to show how Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of God.  This does not have to be directly linked to how he fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies but can be events in his life that you feel showed he was a very special person.

Why have you chosen them?

How do we recognise the presence of Jesus in our lives today?

Topic -

Our new science topic is ‘Animals and their Habitats’.

What is your favourite animal? (Pick an animal that can live in the wild)

Do some research into your chosen animal and their habitat (where they live)

Find out how they have adapted to live successfully in their habitat. An adaptation is a special feature that an animal has that helps it to live in the environment that it does.

Examples:

-Fish have gills to help them breathe in water.
-Polar bears have white fur which helps them to blend in to their natural environment.
-Pandas have hair on the bottom of their feet to stop them from slipping when they are climbing.

Create a poster or a video to share the information that you have found out about your chosen animal

Mindfulness –

-Part of making sure that our brains stay healthy and strong is to make sure we do things that make us feel relaxed and happy. Try some of the activities in the mindfulness folder.
-Creating something can often help to relax our minds. Try draw with Rob to develop your drawing skills and produce some lovely pictures. http://www.robbiddulph.com/draw-with-rob

I have really been enjoying seeing what you have been doing while you are at home so keep your pictures and videos coming on the class Seesaw. Remember, if you don’t have access to Seesaw, but would still like to share what you have been doing, parents are more than welcome to email me at c.bailey@st-judes.hants.sch.uk
