Dear Parents and Children,
We hope that you are continuing to stay healthy and happy. As it is the Easter holidays, for the next 2 weeks there will be no formal home learning set for you.
However, please try to keep up with your reading as many times per week as you can.
You may like to check out these fun and creative activities to pass the time at home during the 2 week Easter break:
- Make an Easter hat or bonnet using materials that you have at home – a great chance to use some recyclable materials!
- Make an Easter card for someone in your family.
- Create a piece of artwork that shows a sign of new life that you see in your garden, for example a new flower that is growing, new buds on a tree, birds that have come into your garden that you have not seen before. Take time to draw carefully and remember skills that you have practised at school – shading, sketch lines, and shades of colour.
- Think of others who are in need at this difficult time, and also think of all the things that we are grateful for. Write a prayer about your reflections and share your prayer with your family.
