The children have been learning all about how God created the world.  They listened to the story from the Bible.

We went on a Creation walk.  What could the children find that they thought was beautiful which God has created for us.
They used the leaves they'd collected for leaf printing.
The children have made their own "globes", to remember how God created the Earth for us to share.  We used marbling inks.  As Ethan said "Wow!  Look everybody! That is so cool!", and Aaryan was really surprised - "OH! That is really good!"
Our class Saint is St Francis.  Sister Evelyn, a Franciscan nun came to visit us to tell us all about him.   She told us all about his prayer "The Canticle of the Sun".
The children have been taking home a prayer bag with candle, prayer cube and little St Francis doll where they can write down their prayers and thoughts all about him and how they want to care for God's Creation.

To celebrate the Feast of St Francis we held a special liturgy on his Saint's Day, and we invited the children's parents to come and share it with us.
