Coding: Human Crane Autumn 1
Today the children explored the concepts of algorithms, bugs and coding in their ICT lesson. A crane had broken and was unable to move the blocks from one bowl to another. The children were asked to create a piece of code to ensure the human crane could move blocks. They had to sequence action cards to create an algorithm to ensure the human crane moved the blocks accurately. If they found an error in their code ( a bug ) they had to debug their code before they could continue. The children were really engaged and motivated in this lesson. Here are a few photos of the coders at work!
