Cave Art
Year 3 have been exploring the skills needed to be prehistoric arists. We used our natural surroundings to find colour from leaves and berries, and we used sticks adn leaves as tools to make our marks. We followed our designs and created unique artwork on the 'cave walls', ensuring we chose earthy and natural colours. The drawings were made up of simple outlines and clear shapes. We loved getting creative, especially when it took us outdoors, to appreciate the wonder of what our environment can bring to our creations. Take a look at our gallery below...
