Supertato...and the Evil Pea!

Have you heard of Supertato?  We have been reading all about him in a series of books by Sue Hendra, illustrated by Paul Linnet, and the children have been loving them,  but oh dear, we arrived on Monday to discover that the Evil Pea had left us a surprise!  He had captured Supertato and his gang and sent us a letter.  We have been working hard all week to try and crack the code word and free the vegetables!

Free the Veggies!

Free the Veggies! 1
The children have been working hard to think of their own code words to free the veggies...
The children thought they caught sight of the Evil pea running away across the field and over the Church roof.  They even wondered if he had captured Father John!  They decided to take action and made a trap.  They even added leaves to camouflage it!

The children then made their own veggies and thought about what they might say...

The children have been busy in other ways too - drawing and writing on the board, making their own signs and making Supertato and the Evil pea at the play dough table.
You might like to look out for these books - they've been a huge hit with the children along with our other Superhero books!
