Year 3 kicked off their new topic Island Escape with a visit from the RNLI.
The children learnt about water safety and the RNLI’s role in keeping others safe.
The children also watched some videos of real-life rescues and looked at photographs of the first lifeboat and how it developed throughout the years.
Remember, if you are in any danger whilst at sea, call 999 or 112.
The children learnt the second number by pointing to their mouth, nose and then eyes.
