The children have been reciting and recognising numbers from 1-10. They made playdough and moulded the playdough into number shapes using a template.
Whilst using the stepping stones outside, the children called out the number that they were standing on as they moved around the stepping stones.
A group of children rolled balls along the table and aimed to get them into cups that were attached to the end of the table. Each cup had a number in it. Some of the children were able to record their number on paper next to their names.
The children completed dot to dots on the interactive board talking about which number came before or after a given number.
Using the numicon, the children put the correct number of pegs into the templates and found the correct number card matching numeral and quantity together.
